Topic reflection

This is my reflection on our topic this term on North Korea and New Zealand government.

Metallurgy

 In this topic I have improved and learnt more about metal. At the begging of these lesson all I knew was a few different types of metals, and their names but as the lessons went on I learnt that different metals are used for different things, and all different metals have different properties such as Ductile, Lustre, Corrosive, Malleable, and Alloys. It was fun doing the experiments for this topic and I learnt so much well having fun with every activity. 

Kia ora, we have been setting goals to prepare us for 2022. Below are my goals:

One piece of advice for myself this year is to do my homework and concentrate well on working. One thing I was proud of from last year is that I was able to understand things easily and learnt many more things about history. My main focus this term is to try my hardest to finish work and concentrate more. When I need help I know to ask the teacher or friends At the end of this term, I want to be able to say that I achieved my goal of getting a merit or excellence in social studies These are my action steps to help me get there Stay focused in class. Listen to the teacher Finish all assessments and tests, and study for them. Get my work done / go over to see if it is correct.  Manage myself.

Human Rights

KIA ORA we have been doing a slide on Human rights and the history of how and where it all started. What are human rights to me? Human rights to me are where everyone should be treated equally and fairly no matter what the other person believes in, or what gender they want to be. They all should have their own right, the right that has been given to them from birth, it should carry on till to death, but people these days go against LGBTQ or peoples freedom. Where everyone should have freedom and rights for their own life. This video shows what we had learnt for the past 2 weeks. We all had to do a slide on "Human rights" where we had to do research, and watch videos on what is human rights and what the deeper meaning of the history of human rights is. And all the research and discovery we have done on human rights are all in this link to a presentation I have done on google slides and screencastify.

This presentaion is to give us an experience of how to plan a trip and adding all of the money up that we would spend during this trip.

This week we viewed a video in our social-studies class called Consumerism .This video show how much people have done to the world. How much pollution we release on to our environment and how much technology, and what we do to get those things, tearing up the earth to make one little thing. Even just to see how much we take and take from the earth and don't give back. So it shows that we should spend more time enjoying and saving our planet and its environment. Cause maybe in the future we won't have those beautiful forest , lakes ,  oceans or any sustained healthy environment.
